Still like OBGYN!

01-09-07--> 01-14-07

Hello to all!

I really like OBGYN. It has everything in it so far—patient contact, surgeries, thinking. It is exciting! Yes, there is a lot of “down time” where there is nothing going on, but I try really hard to sit and read during these points. Because of the insane malpractice insurance I really have to figure out if I want to work in OBGYN. But… it is definitely fun and exciting!

Dad came to visit me this weekend! He came on Friday night and I picked him from the train station. I had to work on Saturday from 7-3, but we got off a little earlier, which was awesome. I couldn’t believe how KC just wasn’t afraid of dad—the minute dad walked in the door, KC started rubbing his little head on dad’s pants and shoes… Vega was her normal standoffish self =^.^= Oh well… We did a little shopping, and just had a good time being together! Next time the whole family should come—mom, dad, Omer and the doggies (I’m sure the cats would appreciate this last part…)

I just came back from taking dad back to the station. It was really foggy here this morning, but the ride there and back was fine, and now I know how to do it.

You’ll forgive me for another short entry, I have to go conquer the mountain of laundry :o)

Kisses!

Reut

If you are a medical student. You must visit my website. www.surgicalfire.org This is a true story, and the patient was my mother. I share this with you because you are in a position to help make change in OR's and yes even infants such as the surgical fire at Duke university can be burned during a c-section delivery.
